Tuberculosis (TB), as an infectious disease, has two very noticeable symptoms - cough and low fever. However, not all TB patients will present these two symptoms. A systematic literature review on Tuberculosis found that 77% (0.77) of the TB patients could have low fever, while 81% (0.81) of the TB patients could have cough as observed symptoms. On the other hand, the same review pointed out that 10% (0.10) of the non-TB patients may have low fever, while 30% (0.30) non-TB patients could have cough as one of their symptoms.
