Turn this around to suit a case for the 14 yea-old boy who was sexually molested by his step-father: Johhny Montrobe is a 14-year-old Vincentian boy who resided with her 28-year-old mother, Jenny Montrobe, his 10-year-old sister, Jenia and his 52-year-old step-father named Fenton. George owned a liquor shop in a small building near their home whilst Jenny, worked long shifts as a Cashier to provide for her family in Kingstown city. Liz and her brother were both afforded satisfactory educational opportunities as there were no major issues concerning their standard of living. Liz was always a fun, outgoing and friendly child. She was a well-mannered and brilliant straight-A student who prioritized doing her homework after school before going outside to play with her friends. However, during the school's commencement after the summer vacation, her mother noticed a sudden shift in Liz's attitude and behavior. Annie did not give it much attention as Liz was soon approaching her 13th birthday, and it was assumed that she was going through a phase. Liz's grades started to drop significantly, which was also out of character for a brilliant child such as Liz. Her teacher rang Annie at work to brief her on Liz's declining grades and odd behaviour in class and to enquire if everything was okay at home. Annie reassured the teacher that everything at home was fine and that she had also noticed a shift in Liz's demeanour and attitude. Annie told the teacher she would leave work early to go home and have a conversation with Liz to find out what was causing these sudden changes. Annie was not prepared for what she was about to discover. When Annie got home 2 hours earlier that evening, she heard noises coming from Liz's bedroom. When she opened the bedroom door, she saw George, Liz's stepfather, having sexual intercourse with her 12-year-old daughter. With a heavy heart and profound disbelief, it all became clear to Annie. While she was working long hours at her job, George was working from home in his auto bodywork shop, where he took advantage and used that opportunity to prey on Liz. George was asked to leave the home as Annie refused that he be around her and the kids any longer. Annie embraced Liz and apologised to her for the torment she was going through, and for being oblivious to what should have been more obvious had she been paying closer attention. Liz broke down in tears in her mother's arms, all the while saying she wanted to tell her but she was fearful of saying anything because George was always around. Liz Admitted that the assault began ever since George moved into their home the previous year. Annie could have only thought of protecting her children and explaining this situation to young Philip. Annie called the Police to report the matter, and George was arrested later that evening on the offense of statutory rape.
