Two areas in which my organization could improve are being more vigilant about monitoring the movement of employees throughout the clinical areas. When employees move to different departments, they often times maintain their access to the department they left. Another area in which we were recently cited when we had our survey from the Accreditation Commision for Health Care (ACHC) was that all employees had badge access to our medical records office. Through our plan of correction, access was changed to only certain level employees that would have a need to have access to that area
