While Level One arboretum requirements place certain demands upon the arboretum, Level Two requirements are more aspirational as the Heritage Center Arboretum may choose to apply for level two status at some future date. Levels three and four do not apply as the minimum number of species for each is 500 and our site is far too small to consider that. These policies can be found below.

The Arboretum team annually assesses the size and condition of each tree and woody bush in our inventory. These are not every single plant, but specifically the one of each species that is identified by a sign. We track how each grows.
