Two blocks of masses m1=14,4kg and m2=5,2kg are connected by a rope that hangs over a pulley as shown in the figure. The pulley is a uniform disk of radius R=0,4m and the mass M=7,3kg. The system is released from rest. Determine the magnitude of the acceleration of the blocks. Express your answer in units of ms2 using one decimal place. Take g=9.80ms2.
Note: The moment of inertia of a uniform disk is Idisk=12MR2. Assume the rope is massless and it does not slip over the pulley.
