A plethora of challenges can impact the members of the team involved in quality improvement projects in an organization. Stakeholder availability is crucial to the quality improvement initiative and can be a potential challenge. With the practice environment experiencing staff shortages, the stakeholders might not be able to commit to the project. Power dynamics can be another potential challenge. It is incumbent on the Administration to support and endorse the frontline staff in the decision-making process to gain buy-in. Furthermore, the lack of diversity can impact the initiative with a paucity of innovation to see the success of the team. Expand upon your colleague's post or offer an alternative strategy recommendation and/or alternative stakeholders to take part in the quality improvement team described by your colleague.
