Understanding aspects of non verbal communication provides us with an opportunity to understand the limitations and even biases associated with our interpretation of the behavior and gestures of others. We know how we feel and what we mean. However, those feelings and meanings may not always be the interpretation generated by those viewing us. Having the opportunity to see what others see when they see and hear us can also be insightful.
