UNICEF data at the country level was analyzed as follows.When the percent of infants with low birthweight in a country was 10% or higher, we assigned the value 1 to a variable signifying a "low birthweight problem" (variable name: lowBWproblem).The countries whose percent was not more than 10% were assigned the value 0.A logistic regression was performed, with lowBWproblem as the outcome.The explanatory variables include: what percent of mothers exclusively breastfed, the total adult literacy rate, and the gross national income (GNI) per capita (US dollars).
