However, there are also many other careers in the business world that require knowledge of accounting including: managers, entrepreneurs, stock brokers, school head secretaries, and principals. The Report: You will be required to prepare a report detailing the name of the person being interview, title, job description, accounting tasks involved, educational background, professional development opportunities, likes and dislikes and how computers and technology are used. If the person you are interviewing has a professional accounting designation (CA, CMA or CGA), be sure to mention that in your report. The report should be written in such a way that another student who is interested in that type of career would be able to read the report and have an idea of the tasks done by the person, the education they need to get to the position and any other information you feel would be helpful to a person aspiring to this career. This report will be one to two pages in length, double spaced, 12-point font with one inch margins.
