You're on Vacation .. as Soon as You Leave Instructions for Your Replacement Sometimes your computer needs to be backed up, and sometimes you do. This time, it's you. The good news is that you're going on summer holiday for two weeks! Unfortunately, it is during the period that your company completes its yearly maintenance and update/upgrade run. You would normally be in charge of it, but since you will be on holiday, you need to leave instructions for your replacement so that this year's run goes off without a hitch. In addition, your manager is going to look favorably on your ability to instruct others if everything goes smoothly, so focus on the task at hand and not the beach. Your replacement has a general idea of what needs to happen; however, you need to make a list of all the important steps that need to be carried out during the process. List the routine maintenance activities that need to happen and describe them in detail, as well as at least two upgrades that should be done in order to make the computers in the office perform better
