Urban services will strive to keep their customers happy by constantly researching on the latest updates and trends that are going on in the market and build our products to cater new problems. We will follow SWOT analysis every quarter to understand the valuation and relevance of the company in the market and work on short comings as and when identified. We already have a cut above the rest of the competition in the market by being the bridge between part time job seekers and the busy urban population who want their boring chores taken care of: Market competition: There are no companies that match the variety of services we are providing under one roof. However, there are companies that are working on individual services like "comfort keepers" (care for the elderly), "Best friends pet care* (for pet care services) and many other companies providing services to get done with day-to-day chores. Initial SWOT analysis Strengths- we are determined to provide services at the most affordable prices so that we can reach out to many customers. However, this doesn't mean that we will compromise on the quality of the services as we will be training our staff to be professional. Customers are always given the upper hand as they have all the freedom to order, cancel or even raise concerns as per their will just by folloving few dicks on our user-friendly web and mobile applications.
Weaknesses- As we are going to launch the business in Vancouver, which has a larger area to cover by our service partners, we will have to start the services covering 20 kms from our main office (which will be in the downtown area) to make sure we begin on a high success rate. Another potential issue we might have to face would be employee loyalty, which would be taken care of by our talent management team. Opportunities- We could expand with addition of other fields like salon, personal trainers, import-export of shipments, security services, virtual therapists etc., which will attract more customers to avail our services. Tie-ups with hospitals, manufacturing units, travel agencies is another gateway to scaling our business. Threats- The main threats to our business would be the local labor, or the do-it-yourself attitude of people. Which we are planning to tackle with professionalism and perfection with work.
