You filed a PPA for your company almost a year ago and the deadline for filing the NPPA is fast approaching. You are feverishly working to complete the claims before the deadline, but notice that some of the other sections require work too. You figure that since the claims are the most important section, you could get away with submitting only the claims to the USPTO to beat the deadline. You do that, and file all the other required sections and forms three weeks after you submit the claims. What is the effect of delaying the filing of the remaining sections and forms of the NPPA until after the deadline on the status of the NPPA?
