ASSESSMENTTASK In this assessment task, you are required to demonstrate hand washing procedures in the relevant hospitality environment on at toast three (3) following occasions: Students are to demonstrate personal hygiene standards in accordance with the workplace procedures on at Feast three (3) following occasions. They will need to choose from below options and are required to inform you before the assessment. Record each occasion This could include washing their hands: - Immediately before working with readytoeat food after handling raw food - Immediately after using the toilet - Before they start handling food or go back to handling food after other work - Immediately after smoking, coughing. sneezing, using a handkerchief or disposable tissue, eating During a class relevant to your training (this could include a theory or practical lesson, your Trainer will observe you performing your typical workplace tasks whilst adhering to and including hygienic and food safe practices. 1. Your presentation needs to meet the hygiene standards outlined in the workplace or Food Safety & Hygiene Policy of ACA Restaurant Cafe, or as explained in the supporting resources for the unit of competency 'SITXFSA001 Use hygienic practices for food safety'. 2. Your Trainer may ask questions to assess your theory knowledge or to support some of your practical tasks you undertake. 3. The checklists below provide a guideline for aspects which may be part of this observation. 4. On one occasion, your Trainer will spray your hands with" Glitterbug potion" and ask you to wash and dry your hands. On your return your hands will be inspected by the "Ultraviolet light" and check on the cleanliness. A PHOTO of the inspection needs to be included in the assessment.
