She said, 'I am not sure that would be a good idea', and pushed him away. They drank some more and Doris became drunk. Jope then renewed his advance, saying, 'Come on; let's do it\". In response, Doris mumbled something in a slurred voice. Jope decided she was agreeing. He lifted her skirt, then proceeded to have sexual intercourse with her. When she sobered up, Doris claimed that she would never have consented to intercourse with Jope. Analyse the liability of J ope for his actions
