Use SolidWorks to create an assembly of a slider-crank mechanism, the length of the crank L2 = 115 mm and length of the coupler L3 = 450 mm. The assembly has to constitute a model of a real mechanism which can be assembled. a) Use SolidWorks Motion to add a constant angle motion on the crank, w = 6 rad/s, and create a simulation of the system. Use SolidWorks Motion to simulate the system in one moving period with 150 frames (please note that this is not the number of frames per second), which includes the linear displacements, velocities and accelerations of the slider (at point C) respective to the point A (origin). b) Determine the maximum velocity and maximum acceleration of the slider and their positions. c) Determine the path at the middle point of the coupler BC.
