Business Process Modelling and Simulation Problem in Boutique A boutique want to simulate the process inside the store for easier updating and improve the process. Provide the Process Simulation for the boutique Project name : Boutique Simulation Process Working Weeks : 5 days Simulation :5 days (1 week) Working hours : 10 hours / day Simulation unit : Minutes Here are some details about the current production line: Front Counter A customer will come to front counter to discuss about the order. The customer come in average of every 35 minutes, but in normal only 85% will continue with the order and the other will prefer to somewhere else. It will take at least 5 minutes, average of 8 minutes and maximum of 10 minutes to serve. o When customer want to order, they are given the option to select the order class: Priority, Fast or regular. o In current condition: 15% customer will select Priority, 25% for Fast and the rest is regular. Designer All the priority customer will be given a free services with the designer and normally all of them will use the facility. o The other customer is given an option with extra charges to discuss with the designer. From the rest of customer (outside the priority) around 30% will need to discuss with the designer and the other 70% already have their own design. o Each designer normally need between 30 minutes up to 1 hours to help each customer with the design, but in normal they need 45 minutes to do it. The customer that do not need the designer, still need a small process to explain about their design so it will result the correct dress. The process is much faster, 3 to 7 minutes, in average of 6 minutes. This process also taken by the designer. Pattern o The time needed to make the pattern for each is 25 minutes up to 40 hours. The average is 35 minutes. Cutting The time needed to do the cutting process for each is 2 minutes up to 6 minutes. The average is 4.5 minutes. Put the machine simulation for "idle" and "busy". Use appropriate "machine" picture to simulate. Taylor The time needed to do the tailoring process for each is 7 minutes up to 20 minutes. The average is 12 minutes, depend on the details in the design. o Put the machine simulation for "idle" and "busy". Use appropriate "machine" picture to simulate.
