Using the following data, prepare project estimations: In preparing to travel to Goose Bay, Newfoundland for a conference we have gathered the following data: - The distance to be travelled is approximately 1500km. For a class volunteer project last summer, some of your classmates spent a week driving from Ottawa to Atlanta, Georgia, which is also 1500km. They made the trip in 2 travel days of 8 hours each. - You plan to take 4-lane highways the whole way, where you estimate your speed will be 100km/hr. - When we spoke to 3 travelers who have driven to Goose Bay in the past, we discovered that: Pierre and his family like to make a lot of stops along the way, taking 18 hours to make the trip over 3 days. Most travelers actually make the journey in 17 total hours of driving, spread across 2 days. - William and his friends drive straight through in 15 hours. - A local travel agent says most travelers plan to divide their journey into 2 days of travel. They plan for the following: Day 1 - Ottawa, ON to Sept Iles, Quebec - 9 hours Day 2 - Sept Iles, Quebec to Goose Bay, Newfoundland 7.5 hours Using the data in the case study above, complete a BOTTOM-UP estimation. Your answers should be calculated to 1 decimal place (ie: 16.4)
