Using the information provided in Appendix A regarding case analyses, write an outline for the following case analysis question.
Lucy, a businessperson, is a friend of Ethel, the owner of a candy store. Every day, Lucy spends five minutes in Ethel s candy store, looking at the candy and usually buying one or two candy bars. One afternoon, Lucy goes into the store, looks at the candy, and picks up a $1 candy bar. Lucy waves the candy at Ethel without saying a word and walks out. Ethel files a suit against Lucy claiming breach of contract. Lucy responds that there was no contract. What is the court likely to rule, and why?
