Using the information we learned about the NFL's marketing efforts in Europe (remember the local connection with former Patriots players Sebastien Vollmer and Markus Kuhn), and the Bundesliga's (as well as other elite European teams) focus on the US market. What are their goals? Are they making headway (or rather were they making headway, pre-pandemic)? In your opinion, do you feel the league's will see a return on their investments? Do you feel fans of both leagues will embrace the others product? Do you feel that increasing exposure will increase fan interest? Will that prompt media outlets to recognize the interest in foreign sports? Or is the US market already saturated? What about the role of social media plays? Will sponsors view this as a way to increase brand awareness? Or reject signing international marketing deals as too expensive?
