Using the Reader-Response model we learned in class, use Martin Ginsberg's essay, "Thirty-Eight Who Saw Murder and Didn't Call the Police," as the basis for your response discussing whether or not you think this is an isolated example of human behavior, or if you believe that people have become so desensitized to crime that they are passive.
