Using the SWOT analysis technique from the chapter and the article Step-by-Step Guide to Conduct SWOT Analysis for Change Management answer the following questions for the Millers Supply Chain Problems. Include your SWOT analysis grid, recommendations, external and internal factors.

The Millers Supply Chain Problems The Millers have owned a business that they started based on a technology enhancement they developed several years ago. They own the patent on the item. In order to help bring the item to market, they decided to do their own manufacturing while obtaining several parts from sources outside of the country. Unfortunately, when COVID-19 hit, their supply chain began to have problems. As suppliers all over the world were struggling to meet demands, the Millers knew they needed to find other reliable sources or consider building the parts themselves. This would require an investment in equipment that might be difficult to obtain and cause additional uncertainty in an already challenging market. What should the Millers do?

  1. Complete the SWOT Analysis grid for this problem. Make a recommendation based on your findings.

2. Identify at least two internal and two external factors that could influence their decision.
