Organize your skills into our two major headings: Employability skills and Industry specific skills.
Attach each skill to a direct example from your work experience, volunteer experience, or educational experience.
Once you have generated this list, begin to construct your skills bio (due this Sunday before 11:11am).
Remember, I do not need all of your preparation work. The template is simply to help you organize and begin thinking about what you plan to write. Your skills bio submission should look like this:
Joe Black has been an integral and passionate supporter of The Plight of the Pink Flamingos for the past two years since graduating from Fanshawe College's School of Contemporary Media. In the role of Media and Design Coordinator, Joe provides the targeted messages and persuasive approach required to bring attention to the deterioration and desecration of the breeding grounds for this majestic bird.
Joe's key skills that he brings to the organization include:
researching concepts, creating proposals, story boarding and pitching ideas to raise awareness
preparing marketing packages for fund-development purposes including digital, print and web-based materials
examining the issues and norms regarding copyright and the use of appropriated text, images and sounds in support of The Plight of the Pink Flamingos.
