You are supposed to load the prices into software when software is launched.

You should offer a price editing function. The interface can be any type, for example, two listboxes (one shows the metal and the other one shows the price). Or simply show a drop down list:

4. When the prices are changed, you should write the prices back to the price file. The new prices should be updated to the memory to continue new transactions as well 5. The transaction is done when print button is pressed. The information of the transaction should be saved in a transaction file TransactionLog.txt.

6. A daily total of payment should be calculated and displayed on the interface.
