1. Verona Rupes Miranda is the name of one of the five moons of Uranus (it has 27 observed satellites), a photograph of it taken 1986 by Voyager 2 is shown below. It can be modeled as a sphere of radius 236 km with a mass of 6.40 x 10 kg. a. Estimate the free fall acceleration of an object dropped near the surface of Miranda. Explain how you arrived at your estimate. b. Verona Rupes is a large cliff on the face of the moon (seen near the bottom of the above image) estimated to be 20 km high. How long would it take an object to fall from the top of the cliff? Explain your conclusion. c. Suppose an adrenaline junkie astronaut took a running leap from the cliff face how far from the vertical face would they land? Assume they are only moving horizontally at a speed of 8.50 when they leave the cliff and the terrain at the base of the cliff is roughly horizontal. Explain your work. d. With what velocity will the astronaut hit the ground? Present the velocity as a vector using i and j and explain how you arrived at it
