Initially I planned to tackle it alone and then post about it here, as I might have difficulty committing to a zoom meeting. However, I'm finding it challenging to even get started on my own. I think it would be more effective to work through it via the discussion board. This way it's easier for us to engage, and we can collectively make progress. Are there any thoughts on this approach? I would suggest we break the responsibilities into five (5) seasonal changes around the globe and sign up: Monsoon (Rainy)--Etinosa Autumn (Fall)-- Summer-- Winter-- Please share the type of clothing as well as personal items that Ms. Lucy might need during the season you signed up for. For example, Ms. Lucy will need a rain jacket and rain boot during monsoon season. Reply to this posting with your answers. Please do not forget to subscribe to the thread. We can add other items like passports, travel documents, foreign currencies etc., after we have reviewed our individual lists. Thanks! <<< Replied to post below >>> Authored by: Cole Besser Authored on: Sep 10, 2023 3:59 PM Subject: Team Activity I'm seeking input on how to approach our team activity. View profile card for Benedicta Adu Benedicta Adu Mon at 7:41 PM 400 Words Hi Cole, I think your approach to using the discussion board for the team activity is a great idea. It allows for a more flexible and collaborative environment, which can lead to more diverse perspectives and potentially better outcomes. Plus, it accommodates different schedules and preferences, making it easier for everyone to contribute. Lucy Motion is embarking on an exciting adventure - a trip around the world spanning all seasons. As a team member for Team 1, I have analyzed the virtual escape activity provided in the game link - Around the World in 30 Days to assist Lucy in packing for her journey. This comprehensive packing list takes into account the diverse climates and destinations Lucy will encounter, ensuring she is prepared for both warm and cold weather. By considering the climate information provided in the game, I tried to compile a list of essential items below that will help Lucy stay comfortable and ready to embrace all the adventures her trip has in store. Her route includes tropical locales like Brazil as well as colder spots like Russia and Canada during winter months. For all seasons, she should bring: Comfortable walking shoes that can get wet Layering tops and bottoms for temperature fluctuations Light jacket or sweater for air conditioning Raincoat and umbrella Toiletries and necessary medications Phone charger and power bank Hand sanitizer and anti-bacterial wipes First aid kit Cameras, easily accessible daypack For warm weather: Shorts and skirts Tank tops and t-shirts Swimwear Sunscreen and hat SARI water bottle For cold weather: Warm coat, gloves, scarf Thermal underwear tops and bottoms Fleece layers and sweater Snow boots Wool socks Winter hat This packing list is a general guide. Please let's be sure to consider Lucy's personal preferences and any specific activities she plans to engage in during her trip. <<< Replied to post below >>> Authored by: Cole Besser Authored on: Sep 10, 2023 3:59 PM Subject: Team Activity I'm seeking input on how to approach our team activity. I am busy with work this week. I got past the first challenge, but I need help solving the second challenge. The colors of shirts Lucy needs are for FALL (Lucy is packing For her trip. She only needs to pAck for the season she wilL be traveLing in.). The colors include white, grey, blue, grey, and black. They all relate to fall. Then, I organized them alphabetically: Grey (Cool), white (Equal days, and nights), blue (Leaves), red (School), and black (Windy). However, I need some help with the next one. The clues are less pronounced. <<< Replied to post below >>> Authored by: Cole Besser Authored on: Sep 10, 2023 3:59 PM Subject: Team Activity I'm seeking input on how to approach our team activity. View profile card for Etinosa Ayinla Etinosa Ayinla yesterday at 2:09 PM The Third puzzle's answer has something to do with the earth's tilt along the axis when it rotates around the sun causing seasonal changes. Answer is: Fall Winter Spring Summer per the 1, 2, 3, 4 position in the picture. So, match the color of the ticket to correspond to Fall Winter Spring Summer. <<< Replied to post below >>> Authored by: Etinosa Ayinla Authored on: Sep 12, 2023 1:53 PM Subject: Team Activity See Shannon's response to answer first puzzle. use the group discussion above to answer the following questions using relevant names in the group contribution.
Please share your experience of teamwork by answering the following questions (answer the questions in bold, questions not in bold are optional, and intend to provide you with more clues to address the main questions):
- What's your overall reflection of the teamwork? (e.g., Did you enjoy it? Did you learn from it? Do you think it is successful? If it is, what are the factors that contribute to your team's success? What would you change if you have a chance to do it again?)
- How did your team communicate: zoom? phonecall? email? D2L discussion board? How was the efficiency of the communication (e.g., What are the advantages and disadvantages of the communication channel for your team? Was it inclusive?)
- Did you have a clear role in your team? (was there any social loafing? did the cohesiveness of the team impact the team's effectiveness?) Who do you think emerges as the leader of your team in this activity and why?(if there was no emergent leader, how did your team work, and what are each member's roles?)
- What stages did you go through to build the team?
Note: Please include your team number and your name in the discussion title.
