Please read the case from your textbook as we discussed in our class. Keep in mind the following points:

The case gives you information about both Walmart's external and internal environments.

Use at least one strategic analysis tool to analyze Walmart's external environment.

For the internal environment, especially to discuss resources, you need to use the VRIO framework.

Consider the following questions:

What are Walmart's most critical competitive advantages?

How did Walmart develop their advantages?

How sustainable are Walmart's advantages? What is your assessment of Walmart's competitors and their ability to imitate Walmart's advantages?

What are Walmart's strategic options? To what extent do these options exploit Walmart's competitive advantages?

Given those points, in addition to the strategic choices that Walmart's CEO has according to the case, what are your recommendations for Walmart?
