Walter is a teller at a bank. While working, he was robbed at gunpoint. During the robbery one of the assailants punched Walter in the face, breaking his nose and causing it to bleed profusely. Responding police officers shot and wounded the gunman who was able to flee the bank and get away. During the crime scene processing one of the CSI technicians asked Walter for a blood sample so they can eliminate his blood at the scene from blood left in the bank by the wounded robber. DNA examinations will be done in an effort to identify the suspect. Walter refused to give the blood sample, asserting her 6th Amendment rights against self-incrimination.
