Walter works as a delivery driver for Patsy's Pizza. Patsy's Pizza pays Walter by the hour to deliver pizzas to customers, but Walter drives his own vehicle. Patsy's Pizza assigns Walter to work 5 shifts per week, and he's paid on the first Friday of every month. When an order comes in, Patsy tells Walter which orders need to be delivered and he is expected to follow those instructions. On Sundays during football season, Patsy's Pizza is very busy. Occasionally, Patsy's Pizza asks Laura to work a delivery driver shift on those Sundays when they anticipate a lot of orders. Laura works during the week as a barber at a local salon, but she likes to pick up the extra money when she can. When she does work for Patsy's, she also uses her own vehicle. She is paid by the hour for just the hours that she works on that day.
