one of the team members has been coming into team meetings late and poorly prepared, as well as taking a sick day at least once a week, which may affect the project timeline.
Another team member has occasionally updated documents locally without updating them in the team repository. This has caused problems with version control; we arranged a meeting, and we discuss the following:
- Discuss the performance of the team member using appropriate performance management and appraisal methods.
- Use verbal techniques to discuss possible solutions to the problems with the team member.
- Have a discussion with the team members about what the agreed values and behavioural standards should be, reminding them why these are important.
- Explore options for training to support team members in performing in their responsibilities.

a.Make a decision regarding team member performance and suitability keeping in mind the project constraints, budget and timeline
b. Identify any further training needs for team member/s following on from the discussion, again keeping in mind project constraints/budget.
