We are planning to launch a product(thin-film solar cells ) in the market. These are the projections we have made -
Mark-up is assumed to be 2.5 times the manufacturing cost.
Manufacturing cost breakdown: 60% materials, Labor 30%, OH 10%.
Final installation price is $3.25/Watt, and the manufacturing cost is $0.5/Watt.
Profit per installed KW is: $500 X 2.5= $1250
Projected Revenue and Profit:
Revenue $ 3.25 x Sales for the first year
Profit $ 1.25 x Sales for the first year
Can you guys help me in assuming projections for following things-
1) Projection for estimated cost sheet (Refer projected profit to apply it on the table)
2) Identify how many units can be sold on 1st year, 2nd year, 3rd year, 4th year, 5th year. So you can justify the profit.
