compliance related, and litigation related. Compliance related means that the valuation is

required by law or regulation. For example, companies need to estimate the fair value of

goodwill. Litigation related means that the valuation is related to damages, shareholder

disputes, etc. Transaction related reasons are a primary reason for private valuation. We
