We first used the measured current and voltage in order to find the value of the variable resistance used. We then calculated If using Vf-100 and Rf=300 ohms. Followed was the calculation of Ea using the given equation and result of If calculated prior to that. When we obtained Ea, we used the measured value of Ra in the lab and the calculated variable resistance. We had all the parameters to theoretically solve for Va and la using simple KVL and KCL rules.
