We have been studying Macroeconomics for about 4 months now so its time to take a look at the data and see how the economy is doing. There are many different Economic Indicators that are tracked to determine the health of the economy and to get an indication of where the economy is heading. Don't rely on current social media because there is a lot of really questionable information out there.

Select ONE aspect of the economy to report on. Only one student per specific area of the economy. That would mean only one report on the current unemployment rate, only one report on the current labor force participation rate, only one report on the current trade deficit, only one report on housing starts, only one report on the Consumer Price Index, only one report on GDP growth, etc. etc. etc. There are plenty of topics to choose from so it should not be a problem to find your own special topic. Another option if the main topics are already gone would be to search for Hawaii specific data and about where our state is headed in 2024.

Site the source of your data, include a graph or chart if possible. Describe what the data tells us about the health of the economy and where the US may be heading.
