We have studied four perspectives of leadership: transformational, managerial, implicit, and personal attributes of these, the first is the most popular and most important. Transformational leadership views leaders as change agents, who move their teams in a new direction that will provide better opportunities and alignment with the external environment. Transformational leaders build commitment by: applying implicit leadership theory practices. focusing employees on how to perform their current jobs more efficiently. using coercion when it is needed. rewarding and celebrating employees as they pass milestones along the road to the desired vision. continuously emphasizing the importance of formal leaders in the organization's success
