Globalization is not just an economic or a political process; it is a way of thinking, a way of doing--it is a way of life which we may have consciously or unconsciously imbibed. In this activity, I would like you to reflect about your personal experiences of globalization.

Discuss about your thoughts on the following experiences and come up with insights about them: Your experiences dining in fast-food restaurants like McDonalds and Jollibee. You don't have to visit McDonalds or Jollibee to accomplish this task. Use your imagination. List down all the things that you observe while inside the restaurant. For example, the greetings of the security guard at the entrance, the over-all ambience of the restaurant, the queue of the people ordering, the time for waiting and dining, the production and distribution of goods and services, the management and crews, etc. By the way, you can order online if you really want a piece of burger. But make sure you also jot down all your observations. From these observations, what have you realized?
