We recognize that Police Officers have several duties: they help us when we are in trouble, and they are responsible for enforcing the law. Generally they are doing a good job with these duties (and the exceptions are well publicized in the press!).

Please take a look at the following YouTube video, with the premise that people should never talk to the police! The first portion of the video is taught by Professor Duane of the Regence Law School in Virginia. (Regence identifies itself as a "Christian University" - which is relevant only because Prof. Duane makes a comment during his presentation.) The second portion of the video is a response by long-time (over 20 years) Detective George Bruch (who just happened to also be a third-year law student ("3L") in Professor Duane's class) to the comments of Professor Duane.
