We wish to separate a mixture of Ethanol (C2H5OH) and Water in a counter-current, staged distillation column operating at steady-state and at 1atm. The feed is a two-phase flow at 100 kg/min. The feed comprises of 8.91 mol% Ethanol and flows at 93C. The desired distillation composition (xD) is 80.0 wt% and the bottom composition (xB) is 1 wt% Ethanol. The column has a total condenser and partial reboiler and the reflux ratio (R=Lo/D) is 3.0. *Note that there is both wt% and mol%

A) Determine the distillate (D) flow rate and the bottoms (B) flow rate in kg/min. (Round your answer to two decimal places)

B) Find the condenser duty (QC) and the reboiler duty (QR) in kcal/min. (Round your answer to the nearest whole number)
