Customers use WebTickets webpage to search for the concert/venue they are interested in attending and order tickets for the upcoming show. Customers use their credit card to pay for their tickets. The web system validates the credit card against the credit card companys validation files and if valid approves the sale. Once approved, WebTickets sends the ticket particulars to the venue and offers the customer the option of printing the tickets and receipt him/herself or having the tickets and receipt mailed by WebTickets mailing department (for keepsake tickets). At the end of each processing day the credit card companies are sent the days transactions.
