WeWork: The WeWork financial scandal. This scandal is infamous and even has a Hulu documentary you may find interesting. The SEC will have filings for the entity as it is structured now. Earlier financiers may have financials and disclosures you can find. This is the original prospectus filed in $2019$ for We Work S$-1($sec$.$gov$).$ Please use these financials to demonstrate your mastery of the financial ratios studied in this course. Please discuss the impact to investors and how this scandal appeared or manipulated key financial ratios studied in this course or would have in GAAP accounting $($one of the problems with WeWork was the company did not follow GAAP $-$ they made up some very interesting assets.
