What about steak? It seems clear enough that if you purchase a steak at your local grocery store, taking it home, cooking and eating it, you'd be entering a contract for the sale of goods which would be governed by the UCC. But, what if you go to a restaurant to buy the steak? Is this a good or a service? Does it matter if your steak comes in the form of ground beef (i.e. hamburger) or prime rib?
