Other Notes

During conducting interviews with local companies for our client, the Cumberland City Council, we came across many issues. Granville was the location that was suggested to us. The two issues most often mentioned by local companies were the scarcity of available parking spaces and the unattractiveness of the surrounding landscape. It is also important to point out that the location allocated to our organisation was a part of the Parramatta Local Government Area.

The Cumberland City Council is the seat of a society that is active, expanding, and historically and culturally significant. The region is home to a diverse collection of ethnic populations anda range of functional places of business. This advantage is leveraged through the council's efforts to boost community involvement, pride, social cohesion, and relationship quality.

Totake the required measures towards developing a sustainable business climate in Cumberland, it is essential to understand these results and the consequences of those findingsfor the Cumberland City Council. One of the issues brought to light by the study resultswas the shortage of parking, which prevents many consumers from accessing local companies dependably or efficiently.

We have an excellentnotion of the amount of vehicle travel used since 59.2% of the citizens of Cumberland City Council use a private automobile to work as of the year 2016, which provides us with a good concept of the amount of car travel that is utilised. Another significant finding from the research is that the unwelcoming and car-centric streets on which businesses are located discourage customers and pedestrians from window shopping andinteracting with new businesses.

This is a significant issue because it drives away potential customers. In certain areas, there has been an uptick in the volume of business activity and the number of consumers coming to those areas after pedestrian access has been enhanced. Keeping money in a region requires keeping that region's community intact tokeep the money flowing.
