I witnessed involved a supervisor allowing his subordinates to violate safety policies.The chance ofan actualsafety incident happening from their violation washonestlyvery minuscule.If an incident didhappenthe most likely injuries would have been minor lacerations or burns. However, it could have been as severe as loss of eyesight or even death. The supervisor had previously received mandatory briefings on this information, yet let his subordinates violate the safety policies to win what he perceived as a competition. Multiple individuals made complaints about hissubordinates'conduct, which were quickly disregarded as complaining from"sore losers."
