what can I say to my peers to add to the conversations Although I think the theoretical idea of having a uniform system/ standard sounds nice, I do not believe financial accounting standards should be worldwide. I believe this because, not every country worldwide is working with the same things. Each may have businesses, but their capabilities to run them are different. This would mean that the extremely poor countries with little to no education would be expected to put out the same reports as Americans who have gone through numerous years of college to train for the capability to generate these reports. In addition to this, I think that kind of requirement would assume that all countries are operating on the same monetary exchange, and I'm not sure that's a safe assumption for an entire world pull of various cultures and people. I think the best bet for the U.S. would be to quit trying to push other countries to have the same standards in homelands and be ethnorelative. We need to recognize that although it's ideal to have uniform business, other countries have various capabilities and ways they measure profitability and monetary value
