What happens when you modify an existing style?

The new style must be defined as a paragraph style and can be applied only to selected paragraphs.

The new style settings are automatically applied to text formatted in that style.

The style is given a new name and location in the Styles pane.

The style replaces any previously defined style with the same name on the Design tab.
