what is a peer response to the peer discussion Many classes I have taken to date have been based on accounting fundamentals. The classes focused on how to prepare financial statements. What I enjoyed most about this class is how it focused on interpreting and using financial statement information. I enjoyed the focus on how to bring value to a firm and therefore to the stockholders via the capital budget project including (and I cannot believe I am going to say this) that fact that it was a group project. Group projects alone are a fantastic way to be exposed to the inner operations of mid to upper-level executive thinking and working. The focus on real life situations I gained through the Wall Street Journal article review. I find it interesting that when I read articles now how my personal understanding has grown. For years I struggled with the time value of money. I even struggled with how to use my BAII calculator. This semester was the first time I understood the theory of discount and premium rates. I can read a NPV problem and know what I am trying to solve. I will not have the chance to use
