WHAT IS THE ADJUSTING ENTRY??? Don and Randy are paid $20 per hour. Tammy is paid $15 per hour. Hours beyond 40 hours per week are overtime hours paid at double time (2 times normal pay rate). Classic Furnace pays its employees every two weeks. The December 13thpayroll payment was for the period November 24ththrough December 7th. The December 27thpayroll payment was for the period December 8ththrough December 21st. (Note: please note the December payroll entries 2 and 3 above) Timecards for Don, Randy, and Tammy are listed below for the month of December. Classic Furnace is not open on December 24th, December 25th, December 31st, and January 1st. Although no time is shown on the time cards for days not worked, Classic Furnace does pay its employees for Christmas Day and New Years Day based on 8 hours at normal wage rates. No wage payment is made for December 24thand December 31st.
