What is the difference between a for loop and a while loop?

$$for$$ loops are always finite, while $$while$$ loops can be infinite.

for loops are more concise for definite iterations, while $$while$$ loops are better for indefinite iterations.

for loops cannot be nested, while $$while$$ loops can.
