What is the importance of the project scope?

The project scopes helps the the project manager to look at the requirement of the project to know what is needed to get the project accomplished, and also the contraints of the project so that they can be prepared to address these constraints early on to avoid any problems later on in the life cycle of the project. Every decision that the project manager will make is based off the project scope. It helps everyone involved in the project to stay on task and avoid problems.
