A medical resescher believes that a drug has a previously unkown side effect of impacting patients ' stystolic blood pressure (SBP) .To test this ,she measures the vitals of 13 patients about to recieve the medication and instructs them all to follow the regular dosage instructions of taking one of those daily. A month later, when these same patients return for a follow up visit, their vitals are remeasured.During this follow up visit, it is found that 11 patients had an increase in their SBP compared to the baseline taken 1 month earlier.
