What is the logical test for this function? What does it look like for implementation?

b. Using Excel's If Function, calculate the 2018 depreciation expense (this should be in column J-label it 2018 Depr Exp).

-In this case, the fixed asset register includes fully depreciated assets. You do not want to calculate 2018 depreciation on these assets. To exclude them, you can create a condition that will identify those assets still within their useful life. Try this: 2019-cell from the "year" column

-Excel will execute this if the condition is true (asset is within its useful life ). if this is the case, you will want to calculate 2018 depreciation. Try this: cell from the "amount" column/ cell from the "useful life" column.
